The Women’s Empowerment Programs: Crafting Independence
• Precision Packaging: Every item from Empress Crystalline is handled with care. The women in our program are trained in the art of packaging, ensuring that our crystals and gems are presented with the elegance they deserve. This skill gives them a professional eye for detail and a steady hand in the world of commerce.
These programs are built on three pillars of craftsmanship:
• The Sacred Art of Incense Making: Using natural resins and traditional Himalayan methods, the women of Baljeet Nagar are trained to hand-craft our signature Natural Incense. They learn the delicate balance of scents and the patience required for quality, turning raw materials into a source of pride and income.
• The Stitching Collective: We have established a stitching unit where women are taught the craft of tailoring and textile work. From creating sacred cloth pouches for our gemstones to fashioning local commodities, this program provides a creative outlet and a tangible trade that these women can carry with them for a lifetime.
Leena knows that the strength of a community lies in its women. Drawing from her own experience of resilience, she has established vocational training centers within Baljeet Nagar designed to give women the power of a "straightforward" livelihood.
